Is there any lag when using the wireless mics? And is the sound quality the same?Ī little disappointed about the battery thing. Well they are very good quality, whether they're better or not then wired versions in terms of quality I'm not sure. Not liking the batteries part, but have heard in an early review that they are meant to be of higher quality.ĭo you notice a difference when actually singing, like if it registers better? I just meant they would work with PS2 SingStars. I've only tried the PS3 version of GH:WT, the wireless mics definitely work with that, I don't know about the PS2 version. I know things have changed now, I 'll have to get myself a decent one. Haha yeah your probably right, I think the last time I had a battery charger was in the 90's and the batteries never lasted more then 2 seconds. The wired Singstar mics can't be used with GH:WT on PS2, have you checked these? Apologies if that's not what you meant. You know, like what you bought wireless mics for in the first place. You should drag yourself into the 1990s and buy yourself a battery charger, they're economical and fast, you could change to a charged set in seconds and continue playing wirelessly. At least now the only reason for people falling over will be the alcohol and not the mic wires!! The true test of them will be at the weekend when everybody's round singing there heart out. Couldn't tell the difference from the normal wired versions. I've got all sorts of wireless devices in the flat and they caused no problems what so ever. The mics feel a little different as they are a bit wider and actually feel a bit lighter. This also means they can be used with Guitar Hero World Tour (and probably Rock Band) which is a big bonus as far as I'm concerned. Good news is that the mics can be used on the PS2 also as the dongle is just simulating the standard wired version. I don't know how long they'll last until I've had them a while, I expect not that long. Little bit disappointing that the mics aren't rechargeable like a normal controller, I hate having to replace AA batteries. In the box you get a USB dongle (which is quite large), 4xAA batteries, a short USB cable, 2 mics and a white carry pouch similar to the Buzz! carry case if your familiar with that. Used them for a few songs so here's my brief impressions:. Received my 2 new wireless SingStar mics through the post from today (£29.99 delivered).
